About Us

Jim Wilson founded Careforce in 1994 as a tangible way to reach out to children affected by hunger, poverty and despair around the world. Jim’s vision was to partner with like-minded individuals and organizations to bring about change.

As a Christian humanitarian organization, we create opportunities for people to share their talents, energy, wisdom and wealth to help children around the world achieve their potential.

Careforce International currently works with partners in Burkina Faso and Dominican Republic.

Careforce International helps children complete their education and provide vocational training so that youth can find employment generating an income that provides for themselves and their families a sustainable livelihood.

The people who support Careforce International can connect with our programmes by one of the following methods: people can visit our partners and contribute to the programes and projects via a Careforce International “Explore Team.” Canadians can sponsor a programme and follow the progress and success of that programme via updates about the children of that programme. Canadians can also make regular or single gift financial contributions for the running of the Careforce International supported programmes overseas or in Canada.
